Once a year, usually at August bank holiday, the club aims to take Dunribbin, our own boat down to Falmouth for a long weekend.

Our club Falmouth trip allows for a change of aquatic scenery, but also allows us to visit the plethora of wrecks that can be found in this area, many withing easy diving (and travelling) distance of  Falmouth.  Falmouth is home to 'The Manacles'  a notorious rock formation that has claimed many a boat over the years. The most famous of these is probably the liner 'Mohegan' which sailed on to Carn Du Rock, with the loss of 106 passengers and crew. There is a good verview of this wreck on this site. The Mohegan is just one of many wrecks that we can dive in this area.

The other, imprtant aspect of the Falmouth trip is also the social opportunity to spend a little time exploring and enjoying the culinary delights and not to mention imbibing a few of the local ales (not too many though - we're diving in the morning..)
